James and the Giant Peach was performed in the Black Box Theater in the Ulrey Performing Art Center at Harding University. This was my first experience as a Master Electrician and as a Console Programmer. The rig for this show had over 160 fixtures and two follow-spots. TEXAS Outdoor Musical Drama

TEXAS Outdoor Musical Drama was performed by the Texas Panhandle Heritage Foundation at the Pioneer Amphitheater in the Palo Duro Canyon, the second largest canyon in the United States. I worked there during the 52nd season in summer 2017 as a General Technician. As I was there, I helped with daily maintenance and with running the show. I worked on scene changes on both side-stages, which happened on turn tables, and on the stage moving multiple set pieces. I drove the giant train and took care of its maintenance. Also, I helped with firearm special effects, flame bars, and got experience working with 1.1g, 1.3g, and 1.4g pyrotechnics. Photos courtesy of Ritter Collective and myself.

Spring Sing 2017 "Curtain Up!" Music Review

Spring Sing is an original Music Revue at Harding University in the Benson Auditorium, the largest auditorium in Arkansas with a capacity of about 3,700 seats, and performed by about 1,000 students competing with their social clubs to raise money for charity. "Curtain Up!" is Spring Sing giving tribute to Broadway and professional theatre. I was a carpenter, electrician, and run-crew. Photos courtesy of Harding University.

A Midsummer Night's Dream

A Midsummer Night’s Dream was performed in the Black Box Theater in the Ulrey Performing Art Center at Harding University. Unlike normal renditions, the production had a more tropical feel as it was located in the Bermuda Triangle during the 18th Century. The set could be described as a giant jungle gym and there was a platform in the middle of the audience that the Fairy Queen acted and slept upon for most of the show. The photos below show the Mystical Night Feel and there was a dull normal day feel as well. I was a carpenter, electrician, and the light board operator. Doubt: A Parable

Doubt: A Parable was performed in the 1,100 person-capacity Administration Auditorium at Harding University on an angled raked stage. The rake was at a one inch by one foot rise and angled 45 degrees towards stage left. Doubt: A Parable had every set piece on a track. Crazy For You was performed by Harding University for their homecoming musical in Fall 2016 in the Benson Auditorium, the largest Auditorium in Arkansas with a seating capacity of about 3,700 people. I worked as a carpenter, electrician, run-crew, and helped with the special effects of low-lying fog and as a secret staircase operator. This was my first experience in prop-making. Spring Sing is an original Music Revue at Harding University in the Benson Auditorium, the largest auditorium in Arkansas with a capacity of about 3,700 seats, and performed by about 1,000 students competing with their social clubs to raise money for charity. "RETRO-bution" is Spring Sing giving tribute to the 1970s and 80s. I was a carpenter, run-crew, and helped High Tech Special Effects with the smoke and fog effects and the pyrotechnics. The Miracle Worker was performed by Harding University in November of 2015 in their Black Box Theatre in the Ulrey Performing Arts Center. I helped with carpentry, painting, and installation. I did some of the carpentry, painting, and helped install into the Benson Auditorium, the largest auditorium in Arkansas with a seating capacity of about 3,700 people.
